Hunger Heroes was born from the fundamental belief that people everywhere have a deep desire to eliminate the scourge of hunger in their local communities. Food is a basic necessity for any living being. We all want to ensure our neighbors do not go to bed hungry but often do not know how to. What if there was an easy, secure and reliable way to donate food to the hungry in your community? This need is what Hunger Heroes fulfills. The application matches food donors with food claimers through a network of already established and participating restaurants. The donors donate meals by purchasing the meals at participating local restaurants using the application. The registered claimers in need of meals will be notified of donated meals at the nearby restaurants that they can then pick-up. By purposefully connecting kind-hearted people who are willing to donate meals with hungry people in need of food through already established local restaurants, Hunger 
Heroes will work towards solving hunger in your community.
