Hunger Heroes is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded by two brothers, Mukund and Mithun, from Frisco, TX. The image of thousands of cars waiting at the North Texas Food Bank on Thanksgiving Eve, 2020, in the middle of the global pandemic moved us to action. We wanted to solve hunger in our community, but we knew we could not do it alone. We decided to create a platform to bring kind-hearted people and those in need of food together and thus Hunger Heroes was born. Did you know 1 in 8 people in the US go hungry and 690 Million people around the world feel the pain of hunger? We believe a multitude of solutions are needed to solve world hunger and Hunger Heroes is one of those solutions that can take a bite out of hunger with your help.
